ABB HITACHI POWER GRIDS 2021 ($1M - $2M)

The Haughton Synchronous Condenser Project involved the installation of a new Synchronous Condenser, Pony Motor and Flywheel Unit designed to improve the energy production and efficiency of the Haughton Solar Farm Substation without increasing coal consumption or overall emissions.

ROBERTSTOWN

SIEMENS ENERGY 2020 - 2021 ($4M - $5M)

The purpose of extending the existing Robertstown Substation was to provide 275 kV transmission network connection points in the form of two 129 MVA Synchronous Condenser Units. These units were installed in conjunction with Pony Motor, Fly wheel, IPB and other control/protection related units.

BAYSWATER POWER STATION 

DCS UPGRADE PROJECT

SIEMENS ENERGY 2020 - 2022 ($3M - $5M)

Siemens in conjunction with AGL worked on completing the Bayswater Power Station upgrade associated with Unit 2 & 3. The Bayswater upgrade was designed to improve the power station’s capacity and efficiency resultantly increasing electricity supply without increasing coal consumption or emissions.

NORTH CONNEX TUNNEL

PROJECT

LEND LEASE BOUYGUES JOINT VENTURE 2019 ($2M - $4M) 

The NSW and Federal Governments, Transurban and the M7 Westlink Shareholders (the Project Sponsors) came together to build, operate and maintain the tolled motorway linking the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills known as NorthConnex. The nine kilometre tunnel motorway includes interchanges to the north and south to accommodate connections at either end of the project.

HAUGHTON SOLAR FARM

HV SUBSTATION INSTALLATION

PROJECT

RCR INFRASTRUCTURE 2018 ($5M - $10M) 

The scope of work for the Haughton Solar Farm HV Substation involved the installation of HV Substation Equipment and included testing and pre-commissioning. The work also involved the installation of overhead conductors, trenching and back filling, termination of cables, the installation of interconnections to solid busbars and Independent Earth Switches and more.
